Sometimes special events, construction or other incidents necessitate changes to the Line A services and timetables. When such events happen, this page will provide all the info you need how our bus schedules may change. Nonetheless we always find a way to show you our city!

Monday, 04th March 2024 until probably 30th April 2024 - Stops no. 15, Esplanade and no. 16, Neuer Jungfernstieg cancelled without replacement

From Monday, 4th March 2024, buses on route A will no longer serve stops no. 15 "Esplanade" and no. 16 "Neuer Jungfernstieg" until further notice due to construction work and a road redesign in the city centre of Hamburg. The route will therefore also be permanently changed. As part of the structural redesign, there will probably be a stop on the "Jungfernstieg" street instead from summer 2024. We will inform you separately about the opening of the new Jungfernstieg stop.
For the time being, we recommend getting on and off at stop no. 17, "Rathaus" or stop no. 7, "Hauptbahnhof/Kirchenallee" for the stops no. 15 "Esplanade" and no. 16, "Neuer Jungfernstieg", which will be cancelled without replacement.
